As I prepare to break my fast let me first take a minute to share something! She... being my little sister is the person I’m going to pick on today! Called me yesterday roughly around this time distraught over a situation she found insurmountable. I find it quite funny being the elder sibling of her and my very tender aged brother who both happen to downplay the power of social media and the cellphone. Back to the situation... little sister calls me out father needed something someone day before yesterday and she needed me to leave the commonwealth of Va to come to Md and then to another destination. I listened carefully heard her out, hearing the concern and worry in her voice. With calm discernment And without going in great detail I offered a few quick options to her as far as what to and say call me back. She followed my advice and in a few minutes resolved what would’ve taken extreme energy, sacrifice, effort and time for absolutely no reason at all and would’ve taken away from me doing things like this. I say all this to say the cellphone is a very powerful tool that some not even older people are afraid of or have no full understanding of. If it’s being done it can be done. We have to educate each other and have to be willing the listen to fill in the gaps. Enjoy your day 😉🌞

I’m sure you heard the saying teach them young... this is one of the main reasons I enjoy teaching and working with Young Athletes. They actually listen (no pun intended ) unless you intend for it to be 🥊 My focus is preparing athletes for middle and high school ball, until this point all of his workouts have been outside... pushups, pull-ups, dips, battle ropes, resistance work, body weight exercises, speed and agility work and calisthenics. He’s finally ready to begin a beginners level of weight training, this weekend we worked on the some compound lifts. Squat, Deadlift, Bench Press
